MARYLAND — The later you're out celebrating Halloween Monday night, the better the odds you'll need an umbrella or rain poncho as an addition to your Halloween costume. Rain and thunderstorm chances increase throughout the evening, the National Weather Service said.
Showers and a possible thunderstorm are expected in Maryland Monday evening into Tuesday, the weather service said, with rainfall amounts predicted at a tenth to a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible during thunderstorms.
Rain will begin after 2 p.m., with heavier rainfall expected from 10 p.m. until Tuesday morning.
