Parent Accused Of Assaulting Middle School Student: Reports
In a letter to parents obtained by news outlets, Baltimore County school officials said the assault happened at Pine Grove Middle School.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Baltimore County student was assaulted by a parent at Pine Grove Middle School this week, according to multiple reports citing a letter from school officials.
In the letter obtained by Fox Baltimore and WBAL-TV, Principal Deborah Magness said the assault happened Thursday morning before school in a hallway near the school office. Magness said a staff member and a school resource officer diffused the situation and took the student to the school nurse for evaluation, WBAL reported.
Baltimore County police told Fox Baltimore the parent was authorized to be in the school. Police said the parent got into a verbal fight with the student before taking their cell phone and assaulting them, the report said.
