Otter Creek Marina Fire Involves 5 Boats, Garage: Officials
The fire marshal is investigating an early morning blaze in Abingdon.
ABINGDON, MD — Fire broke out at Otter Creek Marina early Tuesday morning, officials said, impacting several boats and a garage.
The blaze in the 600 block of Otter Creek Road was reported at 1:39 a.m., according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Five boats from 18 to 30 feet long were involved, in addition to a garage, he reported, noting all of the boats were dry docked.

The fire was under control in 45 minutes and out within two hours of firefighters arriving, Gardiner said.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause and origin of the blaze.
