RV Fire In Bel Air Caused $200,000 In Damage, Officials Say

The fire marshal is investigating a blaze that broke out Tuesday morning.

BEL AIR, MD — There was an RV fire Tuesday morning in Bel Air, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal. The cause is under investigation.

At 5:43 a.m., a neighbor discovered the blaze at the motorhome in the 2300 block of Edwards Lane.

The fire began in the engine/electrical compartment in the back of the 45-foot 2003 Holiday Rambler Navigator, according to the fire marshal.

About 10 firefighters from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call and brought the blaze under control in 10 minutes, officials reported.

The fire marshal said there was $175,000 in structural damage as a result of the fire, and $25,000 worth of items inside the vehicle were also lost.
