Bladensburg Roofing Company Scene of 3-Alarm Fire
ABC Supply on Kenilworth Avenue in Bladensburg is the scene of a three-alarm fire, say county fire officials.
BLADENSBURG, MD — Firefighters are battling a three-alarm blaze at a roofing company in Bladensburg, according to Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady. Initially, the fire was two-alarm blaze, but was later upgraded.
The first call for the fire was made about 2 p.m., he said, from the ABC Supply Co. in the 3400 block of warehouse with flammable materials inside, 3400 block of Kenilworth Avenue in Bladensburg. Heavy fire was showing from the one-story commercial building when firefighters arrived. The warehouse stores many flammable materials inside.
The building involved is an open air loading dock with a roof. The fire did not reach the interior of the business, Brady says.

No injuries have been reported.
MD-201, or Kenilworth Avenue, is closed between MD-450 (Annapolis Road) and Lydell Road because of fire vehicles. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
