Huge Tractor Trailer Fire Causes Massive Delays on I-495 in PG County
Authorities shut down two lanes of the Beltway inner loop early Tuesday morning.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — Two lanes of the inner loop of the Capital Beltway were shut down Tuesday morning after a tractor trailer caught on fire in Prince George's County.
The fire happened near the on-ramp for Route 5.
"No reported injuries," the Prince George's County Fire Department tweeted at 6:25 a.m. "2 right lanes remain closed. Expect major delays."

Authorities were able to reopen all lanes shortly before 7 a.m. The charred remains of the truck remained on the shoulder.
