Search Intensifies for Suspect in Brutal Shooting in Seat Pleasant
Police have released a sketch of the suspect and are offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who will come forward with information.

SEAT PLEASANT, MD — Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man suspected of gunning down 37-year-old Oscar Colindres Garcia last week, and they have released a sketch of the suspect and are offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who can offer information leading to an arrest and indictment.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 7200 block of Joplin Street in Seat Pleasant back on Aug. 17 shortly before midnight, according to the police report. When they arrived, they found Garcia in his car outside of his home suffering from a gunshot wound. He passed away several hours later.
Police are looking for an African-American man between the ages of 20 and 30 who is between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He weighs between 185 and 200 pounds.

"Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is urged to please contact the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925," the police report states.
