Police: Arnold Home Burglary Foiled During Break-in

Police arrested a Pasadena man as a suspect in an Arnold burglary.

Anne Arundel County police officers responded to the 800 block of Macsherry Drive in Arnold at 11 a.m. Monday for a report of a home burglary in the Wexford community, according to a press release.

Officers identified a possible suspect, carrying a backpack and walking from behind two homes. A witness identified the man as being the one involved in the burglary, and he was detained. Officers later determined that he had made forced entry into a home, but fled when he realized the home's occupant noticed him.

Police said in a press release that it was unclear if anything was taken from the home.

Allen Patrick Deaver, 34, of the 700 block of Willowby Run in Pasadena, was arrested and charged with first-, third-, and fourth-degree burglary.
