I-95 Jammed At Route 175 From Vehicle Fire
A vehicle fire snarled traffic in Howard County on Interstate 95 Monday evening.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Those headed north on Interstate 95 in Howard County should expect delays and may want to seek an alternate route. I-95 north was briefly closed past the exit for MD 175 due to a vehicle fire.
The fire was reported after 5:15 p.m. on Monday. While southbound traffic was not affected, northbound lanes were shut down for the response.
Because firefighters were using water to put out the fire, the State Highway Administration reported that it would be salting the road again.
