I-95 Tractor-Trailer Fire: HoCo Fire And Rescue Assists PG County
BREAKING: Delays continue on I-95 north for those headed toward Howard County from Prince George's.
Officials said a tractor-trailer fire was causing backups on Interstate 95 north near Laurel Wednesday morning. The fire broke out while the tractor-trailer was on I-95 north near MD 198 around 8:35 a.m.
More than two hours later, four lanes on I-95 remain closed to northbound traffic.
The 53-foot tractor caught fire and separated from the tractor-trailer, according to Prince George's County Fire/EMS spokesman Mark Brady.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured, Brady said.
