A man was unable to start the motorcycle and fled before police arrived.

Police Seek Suspect in Attempted Motorcycle Theft

 

A man attempted to hot-wire a motorcycle parked in a residential area but was unable to get it started on Thursday morning, according to police.

The incident occurred around 10:43 a.m. Thursday and involved a Honda 600 motorcycle that was parked in the 1700 block of Gunwood Place in Crofton.

The man reportedly fled after he was unable to get the motorcycle started and officers were unable to locate him after canvassing the area.

Police said the suspect is described as a black man with dreadlocks, is in his early to mid 20s, and is wearing an all-black or black and red full-face helmet.
