BCPS To Allow Public Comment At Future Education Board Meetings
The public comment portion of the meeting will be conducted by allowing members of the public to call in by phone.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Beginning with the Sept. 29 meeting, the Board of Education of Baltimore County will conduct the public comment portion of the meeting by allowing members of the public to call in by phone.
A person or stakeholder group representative who wishes to address the board must submit a registration form to the Office of the Board of Education. Registration will open one week prior to the board meeting date and close at 3 p.m. on the day before the meeting.
Public comment is limited to 10 speakers and registration is first-come, first-served. If selected, participants will receive confirmation of their registration, along with the call-in number, passcode to join the meeting and public comment guidelines and procedures. Comments are limited to three minutes per speaker. No speaker substitutions will be allowed.
