Baltimore County’s Battle of North Point is a prominent part of American history. The Defenders Day event, marking the battle, takes place annually at Fort Howard Park in Baltimore County on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

This free family friendly event features two re-enactments of the Battle of North Point, living history demonstrations, period musical performances, activities and games for the kids, and much more.
The Dundalk Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Museum sponsors the event, which regularly attracts more than 6,000 people.
