Fire Breaks Out At Recycling Yard In Dundalk, Officials Say
North Point Boulevard was temporarily shut down in the area of the fire at a scrap yard.

DUNDALK, MD — Fire broke out at a recycling yard in Dundalk Tuesday, closing a section of North Point Boulevard for several hours.
Crews were dispatched to an outdoor blaze at North Point Recycling at 10:27 a.m., according to Baltimore County public safety officials.
The business handles scrap metal recycling.

Approximately 50 firefighters battled the one-alarm fire, which burned multiple vehicles, according to Fox 45. Crews were at the scene for hours tending to hot spots.

North Point Boulevard was closed from Norris Lane to Trappe Road for the emergency response. Authorities said the road had reopened at approximately 4:45 p.m.
