Labor Day 2020: What's Open, Closed In Dundalk
Government offices, libraries, courts and landfills will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in recognition of Labor Day.
DUNDALK, MD — County government offices along with district and circuit courts will be closed Labor Day Monday. Health department coronavirus testing sites will be closed and CountyRide vans will not operate. All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed and parking meters will be free on Labor Day.
County residents should check their particular collection schedule to learn when to set out materials during weeks that contain a collection holiday. Schedules are available for download on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s website and on the county’s BaltCoGo mobile app. Trash and recycling drop-off centers will be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday. Drop-off centers will be open with normal operating hours Friday and Saturday.
Metro will operate on a holiday schedule Monday. Trains will run between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
MARC trains and buses will not run Labor Day, with the exception of Commuter Bus No. 201, which will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule.
