Maryland Weather Forecast: Questioning What Season It Really Is
We know the groundhog saw his shadow earlier this month, but we're starting to doubt his prediction.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Although Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Groundhog Day earlier this month, this week's weather is making us question whether winter temperatures will truly stick around the next six weeks. Wednesday's temperatures staggered in the 50s, but it's only supposed to get warmer throughout the weekend.

Thursday offers a slight chance of showers in the late afternoon and a high near 74. Friday we should all find the nearest patio bar to start the weekend, with another high of 75. The weather will drop come Sunday, with a high near 49.
