Maryland Weather Forecast: Spring Temps And Showers

SILVER, SPRING, MD — After a hot Saturday and a springlike Sunday, the workweek will continue the trend of warmer temperatures and cloudy skies.

Expect a high near 70 Monday. Some fog is possible Monday night, along with light winds. A high near 74 is predicted Tuesday before a cold front comes in. Temps dip midweek, but are expected to rise again by the weekend.

Monday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tuesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 8pm, then a chance of showers between 8pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.
