Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Baltimore, Harford Counties
BREAKING: The National Weather Services advises taking cover due to strong wind gusts and possible hail.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of Baltimore and Harford counties until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, according to the National Weather Service.
Officials issued the warning just before 3 p.m., warning of strong winds and possible hail on the way.
Radar detected severe thunderstorms at 2:47 p.m. on a line from Cockeysville to Riverside, moving northeast at 50 mph, weather officials said.

During the warning period, wind gusts may be up to 60 mph. Penny-sized hail is also possible, according to the severe thunderstorm warning.
Damaging winds may cause trees and large branches to fall on homes and vehicles. Roads may be blocked, and power outages are possible.

People are advised to stay indoors and move to an interior room away from trees on the lowest floor. Do not drive under trees or through wooded areas until after the threat has passed.
Locations impacted include Middle River, Cockeysville, Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, Proving Ground, Bel Air South, Essex, Parkville, Bel Air North, Carney, Perry Hall, Rossville, Mays Chapel, Timonium, White Marsh, Fallston, Bowleys Quarters, Riverside, Hampton and Kingsville.
