Maryland Weather Forecast: High Temps And Sunshine Kick Off The Workweek

Another weekend has come and gone, Patchers. Here's your look at the forecast for this workweek.

After a hot, sun-soaked Sunday, the start of the workweek will cool down a bit. Expect warm weather Monday and Tuesday with highs in the low 70s and high 60s.

Temps will drop Wednesday with a high near 65, before shooting back up Thursday and Friday when temps will flirt with 80.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then a slight chance of showers between midnight and 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Monday: A slight chance of showers after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. North wind 5 to 8 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. East wind 6 to 8 mph.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers after 3am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
