Maryland Weather Forecast: Rain-Soaked Weekend

Get ready for a soaked weekend, Patchers. There's rain in the forecast Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There's still a chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon, although it appears that the heaviest rain happened Friday morning. The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Carroll County, Baltimore County, Northwestern Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Harford County and Baltimore County until 4 p.m. Friday.

It'll become slowly clearer and drier Friday night with still-gusty wind. Saturday will be drier, though scattered showers are likely from the morning until the afternoon. Bring an umbrella and a jacket, as temps will be cool in the low- to mid-60s.

We'll finally see some sun on Sunday. There's a chance of showers early Sunday morning, but the rest of the day should be dry.

Friday Afternoon: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 72. South wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. South wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: Showers likely, mainly between 11am and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. West wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. West wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: A slight chance of showers after 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. West wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.
