Maryland Weekend Weather Calls For Beach, Flip Flops, Sunscreen

MARYLAND — Let's get straight to the point. Namely, the weekend forecast is, in a word, spectacular. Hot? Yes. But sunny? Oh, yeah. That's the word from the area branch of the National Weather Service.

Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Lows both nights should be near the low 70s. Not only that, but this spate of cloud-free weather is projected to continue well into the work week.

Friday Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. West wind around 10 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 89. West wind 3 to 8 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind 3 to 7 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 92. West wind 3 to 8 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 94.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 70.
