'Hunter Of Women' Gets Triple Life Sentence In Baltimore County Rape Case
The man who raped a woman at gunpoint outside Greenspring Montessori School also raped at least two other women, authorities say.

TOWSON, MD - A man will serve three life sentences in the rape of a woman near a montessori school in Baltimore County that occurred in 2015.
This week Allen Watkins Hicks, 42, was ordered in Baltimore County Circuit Court to serve life without the possibility of parole after a jury convicted him of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sex offense, kidnapping and armed robbery.
Hicks was previously convicted in a 1996 rape that occurred in Landover; in that case, he had been sentenced to 25 years but was paroled in March 2015.

During the sentencing hearing on Monday, Judge Paul Hanley described Hicks as a "hunter of women." He ordered one life sentence apiece for the rape and sex offense charges as well as 30 years for kidnapping and 20 years for armed robbery, according to court records.
The rape and robbery occurred two days before Christmas in 2015 outside Greenspring Montessori School.

A woman was walking to her car at 6:38 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, at the school in the 10800 block of Tony Drive in Lutherville-Timonium when Hicks robbed her at gunpoint, then bound her hands and sexually assaulted her, officials said.
After repeatedly assaulting her, Hicks bound the victim's feet and drove her car with her in the backseat to a location far away, then poured liquid on her and in her mouth, according to the state's attorney.
Police reported he had taken her more than 8 miles away, to the 3700 block of Sylvan Drive in Gwynn Oak.
When the victim escaped and called for help, three men came to her aid and called police, officials said.
At sentencing on Monday, the judge said that Hicks put the victim through a "three-hour ordeal of sadistic and horrible crimes," according to the state's attorney.
At sentencing, prosecutors reportedly presented evidence of another sexual assault. According to the state's attorney, a woman got off a bus at Philadelphia Road at Fontana Lane on Oct. 28, 2015, when Hicks forced her to engage in three types of intercourse at gunpoint.
During the sentencing hearing, officials presented information about the impact the crimes had on the victims and said the judge, in ordering the triple life sentence, described Hicks as a "hunter of women" who would always be a danger to females.
