Baltimore County Plans Hazardous Waste Collection Day
The waste collection event will be in Nov. 5 in Baltimore County.
From Baltimore County HHW:On Sunday, November 5, Baltimore County residents may bring household hazardous waste (HHW) items to a one-day collection event scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Western Acceptance Facility, located at 3310 Transway Road in Halethorpe.
The event is hosted by the Baltimore County Bureau of Solid Waste Management in cooperation with the Police and Fire departments. Baltimore County residents may bring household chemicals, lawn and garden chemicals, automotive fluids, cleaning solvents, swimming pool chemicals, cooking oil, rechargeable batteries, mercury thermometers and thermostats, and fluorescent light bulbs. No trash or electronics will be accepted at this event.
