Dangerously Delicious On America's Top Apple Pies List

BALTIMORE, MD — Dangerously Delicious Pies has made it onto the tastebud radar of The Daily Meal. The resource for food lovers compiled a list of the best apple pies in America, and Baltimore-based Dangerously Delicious made the cut.

In fact, Dangerously Delicious was the only pie shop in Maryland and one of a few on the East Coast on the list.

The apple crumb pie made by Dangerously Delicious was celebrated in part for its topping, made of oats, brown sugar and butter.

Here's what The Daily Meal had to say: "Each pie at Dangerously Delicious Pies is made by hand, from scratch with no additives or preservatives, and is full of the best ingredients from the area. Among their best sellers is the apple crumb pie, with a sweet filling topped with oats, brown sugar, and butter — delish! They even ship their pies so you don’t have to miss out just because you aren’t in Baltimore."

Dangerously Delicious Pies sells its apple pies in store for $30 and $55 if they're shipped. The pie shop has two locations in Baltimore, one in Hampden and another in Canton, and has grown to include Washington, D.C.
