Toy Drive Begins At Baltimore County Public Library Branches
People can donate new toys at 19 Baltimore County library branches until Dec. 6.

From Baltimore County Public Library: In an effort to bring excitement and fun to children who are less fortunate this holiday season, Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) is kicking off its annual Connecting the Community Toy Drive on Friday, November 17. The drive, which runs through December 6, aims to collect toys that will be donated to various community-based nonprofits throughout Baltimore County.
The public is invited to leave new, unwrapped toys in the conspicuously displayed decorative bins at all Baltimore County Public Library locations. As BCPL has 19 locations in 19 communities throughout the county, each branch has chosen a local organization to which its toy donations will be contributed.
“While Baltimore County Public Library strives to provide the gift of opportunity each and every day to the citizens of Baltimore County,” said Director Paula Miller, “it’s exciting to assist in providing children with something special and new for the holidays.”
