I-895 South Reopens After Crash: MDTA
Traffic was temporarily stopped at the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel for those headed south Wednesday morning because of a crash.
BALTIMORE, MD — A crash temporarily closed the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Wednesday morning, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. Officials advised the southbound closure was in effect just before 8 a.m. and had ended by 8:45 a.m.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, transportation officials said.
By 8:45 a.m., authorities said that the crash had cleared and all lanes had reopened. Traffic cameras showed that traffic was flowing smoothly in the area.
