Free Pizza April 2 For Everyone Due To UMBC Win
UMBC's upset win in the NCAA basketball tournament means everyone gets a free lunch combo at Little Caesars on April 2.

BALTIMORE, MD — On Monday, April 2, everyone can celebrate last month's upstart win of the University of Maryland in Baltimore County in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. The Retrievers ousted the No. 1 seed, the University of Virginia, to become the first No. 16 seed to upset the No. 1 overall seed in the tourney.
Thanks to that historic upset of the Cavaliers, everyone across the country can get a free lunch at Little Caesars on April 2. This is not a joke. The pizza chain said its "If Crazy Happens" promotion would happen if a No. 16 seed knocked out a No. 1 seed in the tournament either on March 15 or March 16.
Anyone who goes to a participating restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time on Monday, April 2, and mentions the offer will get a free lunch combo. The lunch combo consists of a four-slice, deep-dish pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi product of your choice.
