Baltimore Pedestrian Killed In Glen Burnie Accident: Police

A Baltimore man died when he was struck by a car early Sunday in Glen Burnie, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Baltimore man died when he was struck by a car early Sunday morning in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County Police say. The fatal accident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Maryland Route 10 in Glen Burnie.

Investigators say Daniel Joseph Bristow, 40, of the 8oo block of Evesham Avenue in Baltimore, was walking in the northbound travel lanes of Maryland Route 10 when he was struck. A 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by Thomas Herold Marston, 52, of the 1800 block of Wycliffe Road in Baltimore hit Bristow.

Police say Marston remained on the scene. Bristow was declared dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy and toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

Speed and alcohol on the part of the Chevrolet driver do not appear to have contributed to this crash. Any charges would be filed after a review by the State’s Attorney’s Office.
