10 Schools In Baltimore County Closed Tuesday, Sept. 4
BREAKING: Baltimore County Public Schools announced multiple heat-related closures on the first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Summer will last one day longer for hundreds of students. Several schools will be closed on the first day of the academic year due to the heat.
Temperatures will approach 90 degrees in Baltimore County on Tuesday, Sept. 4, according to the National Weather Service. It will feel like 98 degrees 2 p.m., based on the forecast.
Baltimore County Public Schools announced on Labor Day that 10 schools will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Officials said that all other schools and centers would open as scheduled.

These will be closed due to heat since they lack air-conditioning, Baltimore County Public Schools reported:
- Campfield Early Learning Center
- Catonsville Center for Alternative Studies
- Bedford Elementary School
- Berkshire Elementary School
- Colgate Elementary School
- Dundalk Elementary School
- Dulaney High School
- Lansdowne High School
- Patapsco Center for the Arts
- Woodlawn High School
