Middle River Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Shootings
Police said a Middle River man shot and injured two people this week related to an ongoing dispute.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — A Middle River man has been charged with attempted murder and other offenses in connection with a double shooting Tuesday night in the area where he lived. He was charged Wednesday and identified by police Thursday morning.
William Lee Lipscomb, 25, of the 3200 block of Miller Avenue, was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault and using a firearm in a felony crime, police said.
The charges were related to a shooting in the 3200 block of Miller Avenue that happened around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police allege Lipscomb shot two people — ages 22 and 24 — related to an "ongoing dispute." The victims were driven to a local hospital afterward and treated for upper body wounds that they are expected to survive, according to authorities.
He was being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing in his case is slated for Oct. 26 in Baltimore County District Court.
