Teacher Hit In Face By Student At Loch Raven High School: Police
Police in Baltimore County said a student assaulted a teacher Tuesday morning at Loch Raven High School.

TOWSON, MD — A student assaulted a teacher Tuesday morning at Loch Raven High School, according to Baltimore County police. Officials said they were investigating.
Authorities were dispatched to the call at 8:38 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, police reported. They responded to the 1200 block of Cowpens Avenue, where the school is located.
A student had hit a teacher in the face with his fist, and both sustained minor injuries, according to Officer Jennifer Peach of the Baltimore County Police Department.

The teacher was hospitalized and will require stitches, according to WJZ, which said the student punched the educator until his face was bloodied and others pried the student away.
Loch Raven's principal sent a letter to families stating that the student would be disciplined, WJZ reported. Police told the news station that it was unclear what, if any, charges would be filed.
