Weather Decision Updated From BCPS For Wednesday, Jan. 30
After reevaluating conditions, Baltimore County Public Schools announced a change in the schedule for Wednesday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 30, according to Baltimore County Public Schools. This is an update from a previous decision to open late.
"Due to inclement weather, Baltimore County Public Schools are closed Wednesday," officials said in a statement after 7 a.m.
While students have the day off, school offices will remain open on a two-hour delay.

After-school and evening activities in Baltimore County Public Schools will be canceled.

Schools and offices will open two hours late on Wednesday due to inclement weather, officials said.
Up to 2 inches of snow accumulated in part of Baltimore County Tuesday as a wintry mix spread over the region, according to preliminary data from the National Weather Service.
Baltimore County Public Schools dismissed three hours early on Tuesday because of the threat of winter weather.
An arctic blast is in the forecast for Wednesday, with a chance of snow showers as well as wind gusts above 40 mph. Temperatures will be below freezing on Wednesday, Jan. 30, according to the National Weather Service.
