BCPS uses a comprehensive approach to monitor the progress of every high school student starting in Grade 9, and to ensure that students remain on track to graduate. Careful, ongoing data monitoring drives supports that can include parent outreach; face-to-face meetings with staff, students, and families to identify barriers; and flexible opportunities for credit recovery outside of the regular school day and year.
