Police said that three men were linked to more than 70 armed robberies in Baltimore County, Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Three men have been charged in connection with 76 armed robberies at area businesses, according to police. The suspects were linked to crimes in Baltimore County, Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County over the past few months, officials reported.
Throughout their robbery spree, police allege the criminals followed a pattern: They would strike businesses in the early evening hours, clad in masks and distinctive clothing. Then they would show that they were armed with handguns before stealing merchandise and cash from the register.
The spree started at GameStop in the 6300 block of York Road near Towson on Nov. 28, 2018.

- Dontrell Eric Glover, 27, of the 1800 block of West Saratoga Street
- Milek Anton Rankin, 25, of the 2500 block of Hollins Street
- Marquis Davon Moore, 32, of the 100 block of Thomas Guidera Circle
Officials said they arrested the trio after an armed robbery at McDonald’s in the 6000 block of Liberty Road on March 1.
Detectives reported that they found the suspect vehicle stopped at a gas station just inside the Baltimore City line, in the 2000 block of North Forest Park Avenue.
When officers approached, police said Glover had been driving the vehicle, and Rankin had been in the backseat. They ran and were taken into custody with K-9 and helicopter assistance.
After the two took off, officials allege Moore hopped into the driver's seat and drove away in the vehicle.
Unmarked police officers followed the vehicle into Howard County and lost track of it, then found the car parked in the 1000 block of Daystar Court. With cooperation from the Howard County Police Department, authorities said they arrested Moore.
Baltimore County Police Chief Terrence Sheridan thanked various agencies that also assisted in the large-scale investigation, including the Baltimore Police Department’s Citywide Robbery Unit, Anne Arundel County Police Department and FBI Baltimore Field Office.
"When there are crimes committed across jurisdictions, it takes serious commitment and cooperation from agencies to bring a successful conclusion to those investigations," Sheridan said in a statement. "That is exactly what we had in this case, which has brought an end to this crime spree and a sense of security back to our communities."
These are the locations where police allege the robberies occurred:
- 18 armed robberies in Baltimore County (possibly more, police said)
- 54 armed robberies in Baltimore City
- Four armed robberies in Anne Arundel County
The case remains under investigation, meaning more robberies could be uncovered and additional charges filed.
