Flash Flood Watch Issued For Several MD Counties And Baltimore
There are 16 jurisdictions in Maryland under a flash flood watch, along with the entire state of Delaware.

Several counties and Baltimore City are under a flash flood watch that will take effect Monday and continue into Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service issued the watch because conditions may develop leading to flash flooding.
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms Monday with heavy rain may total up to 4 inches in some cases, according to the National Weather Service. Much of the rain may fall in short periods of time in the same location, increasing the likelihood of flash flooding.
Flash flooding, which is a rapid rise in water level, can be deadly.
