3 MD Companies Among Best Workplaces For Women: Fortune

Fortune recently released its annual ranking of the best workplaces for women, and a few Maryland companies made the list.

MARYLAND — A recent ranking put together by the business magazine Fortune identified the 100 best places to work for women across the United States. Maryland is home to three of them.

Fortune selected organizations for its list based on an anonymous 60-question survey that went out to more than 4.6 million U.S. employees. Workplaces that created an environment where employees felt like they could reach their maximum potential stood out.

Fifteen percent of the ranking was based on how well-represented women were overall in the company and in management positions.
