TOWSON, MD — In the Report on the 100-Day Entry Plan, Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Darryl L. Williams established his priorities for county schools based on feedback from workgroups and Community Conversations:

  • Increase achievement for all students while preparing a variety of pathways to prepare students for career and college.
  • Provide a safe, orderly, and caring environment for students and staff.
  • Recruit and retain a qualified, highly effective and diverse workforce, and create a systemwide professional development plan to improve work performance.
  • Communicate, engage, and partner with our parents and communities.
  • Ensure resources are aligned to our system priorities and are distributed efficiently and effectively.

The Report on the 100-Day Entry Plan includes successes, challenges, and recommendations identified from July 1 through Oct. 8, 2019, by four workgroups focused on the goal areas of the previous BCPS strategic plan, Blueprint 2.0: Our Way Forward: academics, safety and security, communication, and organizational effectiveness.

Workgroups were led by BCPS staff and included students, parents, community members, and staff, as well as comprehensive reviews of data and information.
