When Do Stores Close On Christmas Eve In Maryland?

According to the website's survey, 80 percent of shoppers won’t be finished buying for everyone on their lists until December. Last-minute shoppers also have the option of hitting the stores, with many major retailers staying open later in the lead-up to Christmas — and for limited hours on Christmas Eve, the website said.

Open on Christmas

The vast majority of retailers are closed on Christmas Day, even those that keep their doors open on Thanksgiving. But, if you need to grab a last-minute gift card or party supplies, the following (at least some locations) will be open on Christmas, the website said. Note that hours may be reduced and certain franchises within the chain may be closed entirely, so call ahead.
