30-Degree Temp Plunge In Frigid MD Weather Forecast
Wind chills will make the temperature in MD feel like the teens the next two nights, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland's spring-like temperatures are gone for a few days. Winter weather is back the next two nights with lows expected that are well below freezing. The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures in the low 20s with wind chill values in the teens for the state.
The high temperature at Baltimore-Washington International Airport reached 56 degrees on Thursday. But a cold front pushed through last night, bring much colder air. Highs will be in the upper 30s Friday and Saturday, climb to the upper 40s on Sunday and Monday, and then return to a spring feel with upper 50s on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
"Cold night in store for the region with low temperatures dropping into the teens to low 20s. High pressure will keep us dry," the NWS said midday Friday. "Expect seasonably cold temperatures today, despite plentiful sunshine. The wind will begin picking up ... making for some brisk wind chill temperatures."
