From Baltimore County Government: County Executive Olszewski and Baltimore County government are working to protect the health, safety, and well-being of residents. We will continue to provide the latest information available throughout this quickly-evolving public health event.

Hotline for Residents

The Baltimore County Department of Health has issued a hotline for residents to call with questions or concerns about COVID-19. The number is 410-887-3816. The hotline is open seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Baltimore County Public Schools Meal Distribution

Baltimore County Public Schools is also offering free meals for students at locations around the County. Visit the BCPS website to find designated locations.
Department Of Recreation and Parks Youth Food Distribution
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, the Department of Recreation and Parks will offer limited meal distribution to children 18 and under with support from the Maryland Food Bank and Healthy Food Access St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore.
The Department will offer the take-away meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays.
There will be a limited number of meals available and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis at the following locations:

Maryland Health Connection Emergency Special Enrollment Period

The Maryland Health Connection started a new Special Enrollment Period open to uninsured Marylanders who need health coverage during the State of Emergency for Coronavirus (COVID-19) declared by Governor Larry Hogan.

Water Shutoffs Halted

County Executive Olszewski and Mayor Young have announced joint efforts that neither jurisdiction will turn off water service for failure to pay while Maryland is under a State of Emergency.

BGE Disconnections Suspended

BGE is suspending all service disconnections and waiving new late payment charges at least until May 1.

Maryland Access Point Hotline for Seniors

Seniors can call the Maryland Access Point hotline at 410-887-2594. Calls are answered by a team of Certified Information and Assistance Specialists (CIRS), Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Comcast Disconnections Suspended

In addition to suspending disconnections of service, Comcast Xfinity is dropping late fees, making WiFi hotspots free for everyone to access, making Internet Essentials free for new customers, and pausing their data plan, giving all customers unlimited data with no charge for 60 days.
