Baltimore County Coronavirus: Instructions For Trash Collection
Residents in Baltimore County are asked not to put broken bags or loose items in their trash cans, in an effort to protect trash collectors.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — To slow the spread of the new coronavirus, Baltimore County has made a request of its residents. It centers around trash collection. People are being asked to bag their trash tightly.
"Please continue to tightly bag your trash. This will aid in trash removal and keep our trash collectors safe from coming into contact with any discarded items that may have come in contact with the COVID-19 virus," Baltimore County government said in a statement.
There is one thing people are asked not to do with their trash: "Please do not place open or broken bags or loose trash in your trash cans."
