There are lots of good people doing amazing things in Maryland. Meet some of those local heroes here.

MARYLAND — Patch has partnered with Ring to shine a spotlight on the neighborhood heroes who are making a difference in their communities, whether it's the clerk at your local grocery store who went above and beyond to help you, the nurse who tended a sick family member or the stranger who showed you a moment of kindness.
We've already told the stories of a hospital worker who cleans patient rooms despite personal risk, an employee at a care center who has not taken a day off from work since the pandemic began, and a mask-making effort that donates face coverings to first responders and any group that deals with the public.
We've been overwhelmed with the inspiring responses we've received so far. Here's a look at some of your amazing Maryland local heroes:
