Judge Won't Dismiss Murder Charges In Missing Hoggle Kids Case

The court will not dismiss murder charges against Catherine Hoggle in connection with the disappearance of her two kids in 2014, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals decided Wednesday. Hoggle was the last known person seen with her kids, Sarah, then 3, and Jacob, then 2, in September 2014. Police say Hoggle told them she gave her children to someone and they were safe, but would not say where the siblings were.

Tornado Wind Speeds Hit 125 MPH On Path To Annapolis, Edgewater

The tornado that hopscotched across Anne Arundel County when the remnants of Hurricane Ida battered the region Wednesday packed top winds of 125 miles per hour, the National Weather Service has confirmed.

Rockville Flooding: One Dead, Missing Resident Found Safe

The resident missing from a Rockville apartment complex that was flooded on Wednesday morning has been found safe and unharmed, Montgomery County Police said. They were out of state. The flooding that trapped some in their basement apartment on Twinbrook Parkway early Wednesday morning killed one 19-year-old man.
