MD Town-By-Town Snow Totals; Ice In Weekend Weather Forecast

MARYLAND — The snow that fell overnight across Maryland has moved on to dump on the Northeast, and the weekend will start off calm, but it won't last.

The National Weather Service says a dreaded wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet is possible Sunday morning.

But the second snow of the week was enough to again cancel school in Baltimore City, Howard County, and Harford County.

Baltimore County Public Schools, including the Virtual Learning Program, are closed Friday.

Virtual learning will continue because of rising COVID cases in Prince George's County Public Schools.

Students in Montgomery County schools had a two-hour delay on Friday because of the weather.
