MARYLAND — Maryland Day is Friday, March 25. Patch wants to see how you're celebrating the holiday, which marks when colonists arrived in Maryland in 1634.

Show us your Maryland flags, Old Bay cans and state pride for a chance to be featured in our holiday photo round-up.

To participate, email your best picture to maryland@patch.com with the subject line "Photo Of The Week." Participants must also include this statement in their email:

Aerial Shot Of Landmark

Dan Longenderfer submitted this picture of the Roland Water Tower in Baltimore. This structure was built in 1905 to serve the city's Hampden neighborhood. The 117-year-old site has since needed some repairs.

Longenderfer works for the parent company of Lewis Contractors, which performed a major renovation to save the tower from decay. This photo shows the finished product.

Superhero Sighting In State Capital
