Body On I-95 Likely Parent Of Child Killed In Baltimore Fire: Report
The fire, which happened last week in Baltimore's Beechfield neighborhood, is under investigation as a homicide.
BALTIMORE, MD — A body found Tuesday on Interstate 95 is likely the parent of a child killed last week in a rowhome fire in southwest Baltimore, according to reports.
Shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, a construction worker called the police to report a body found near the Harford-Cecil County line, WBAL reported. When police arrived, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they have information to support that the body found "is likely a biological parent of the child killed in a fire last week on Vancouver Road."

On Monday, police confirmed they were investigating the death of a young girl in a rowhome fire as a homicide. The fire happened in Baltimore's Beechfield neighborhood, CBS Baltimore reported.
Baltimore firefighters were called to the home at 4722 Vancouver Rd. on Friday evening, according to CBS. The child, who was described as 3 or 4 years old, was found dead inside the home.

Officials said crews were able to put out a mattress fire in the two-story home, CBS reported.
Neighbors told CBS a woman lived in the home with her two kids. As of Monday, police had not identified a suspect.
Baltimore police are working with Maryland State Police to determine a connection between the two incidents, WBAL reported.
