The abandoned former distillery on Sollers Point Road has had many fires in the recent past.

Seagram's Property Scene of Another Fire

Baltimore County police and fire officials responded to a call at 7:47 p.m. Sunday about a fire at the former Seagram's property in Dundalk, authorities said.

First responders discovered a small fire in the sixth-floor elevator shaft of one of the abandoned buildings in the 7100 block of Sollers Point Road, according to Baltimore County Public Safety spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.

Fire department personnel had no access to the fire because the building was "deemed too dangerous" to fight the fire from inside the structure, Rogers-Feher said.

The fire was brought under control at 9:35 p.m., according to an abc2news.com report.

The cause of the fire in unknown at this time, Rogers-Feher said on Monday.
