The robber left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Mary Phelan, spokeswoman for the Howard County Police Department.
Police said nobody was injured.
The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force—made up of FBI agents and detectives from Baltimore City police, Baltimore County police and Anne Arundel County police—is investigating along with the Howard County Police Department, according to the report.
"As with every bank robbery case, [Howard County] is working closely with the FBI to determine whether this individual may be linked to other crimes," Phelan said.
Anyone with information may contact the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000, police said.
