Vacant House Fire Breaks Out Near Dunloggin

Howard County firefighters were called Saturday morning to a vacant home in Ellicott City.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Fire broke out at a vacant house Saturday morning off Dunloggin Road, according to authorities. Crews were called to the 4000 block of Spring Meadow Drive around 4 a.m.

There was significant damage to the home, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

By 4:45 a.m., fire officials said that the fire was out, and investigators were at the scene working to determine the cause and origin of the blaze.
