Your Weekend: Rosie the Riveter and Ravens Game Day

A primer for the ALCS, plus other community events.

Your Weekend: Rosie the Riveter and Ravens Game Day

All weekend

If Orioles Magic is still happening in New York, games four and five (if neccessary) of the American League Division Series will be in the Bronx at 7:30 on Thursday and 5 p.m. on Friday. Both games will air on TBS and WBAL Radio. The American League Championship Series would then start Saturday (time TBA) at the higher seed—since the Orioles are the wild card winners, should they advance, they would have to travel to either Detroit or Oakland. The ALCS is in a 2-3-2 format, meaning that should the Orioles advance, those three games would be in Baltimore starting next Tuesday. Tickets are basically sold out, but check Stubhub and other resale sites.

Friday

Artistic Synergy of Baltimore presents a production of the play "Love Letters" at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Philadelphia Road.

Donna's Tavern in Dundalk hosts a breast cancer fundraiser.

Saturday

The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum hosts Rosie the Riveter Day.

Join a tour of the North Point battlefield.

The Baltimore Running Festival returns to the city streets. Pre-registration is closed, but some slots may be available on race day. Look out for some of your favorite Patch editors taking part in the Legg Mason relay.

The Towson Tigers football team looks to rebound from last week's heartbreaking loss at James Madison and even their record to 3-3 as they face the Maine Black Bears.

Baltimore County will offer free flu shots at Holabird Middle School.

Get lost in the Beachmont Corn Maze in Kingsville.

Sunday

The Baltimore Ravens ring up some Romo-ing charges: the Dallas Cowboys visit M&T Bank Stadium. Kickoff is 1 p.m.; the game will air on Fox (TV) and 98 Rock and WBAL-AM (radio).
